Virtual Velodrome

The children enjoyed their Virtual Velodrome experience this morning. Everyone completed one lap of the track. Congratulations to Leo and Yannis who were joint first place in our class with a lap of 25 seconds!

Science – investigating spinners

Today we have made our own spinners, and investigated whether the size of the wingspan affects the speed at which the spinner falls. We reduced the wingspan, and then measured the time it took to fall using a stopwatch. We concluded that the greater the wingspan, the greater the air resistance and the more time the spinner will take to fall to the ground.
