In RE on Tuesday, we thought about what we mean by love and what unconditional love is. The children chose different ways to record their understanding of this. Lola wrote this wonderful poem.
On Monday, we were thinking about how we see things.
We used pieces of string to represent the direction the light was travelling. We knew that the light needed to leave the source. It then needed to hit the object we were looking at and then bounce, or reflect, from this into our eye.
Next, we tried different scenarios such as looking at a car behind in the rear view mirror and looking at the back of your head at the hairdressers.
Over the summer our parent email system, InTouch, has been “tweeked” and it seems a number of parents are now receiving school emails into their spam folders.
Please can you check your spam folders and “unspam” them if necessary.
Thank you
Today we enjoyed some team building challenges on the playground. First we tried the bench challenge where the children needed to reorganise their positions on the bench without falling off. Then it was the swamp challenge – children needed to cross the swamp in their team without standing on the playground.
The aim was develop communication and listening skills. The children even managed to complete one of the tasks in silence!
