We all enjoyed our skipping workshop with Chris from Skipping School!

National Poetry Day

We have all enjoyed celebrating National Poetry Day today. We started with a poetry slam – reading favourite poems aloud and rating them out of 4. Everyone enjoyed reading poetry to the children from the reception class. Finally, we read a poem called ‘Liar.’ We looked at some BBC headlines to decide whether they were real or fake news. Then we used these headlines as a starting point for some class poems.
